Please, Help Me Pick A WP Theme Library Based On A Good Framework!

January 16, 2013

Desperately looking for semi/amateur first glance gut check opinions about these 5 lists of WordPress.org templates.

Rank these by how you would feel if you had to settle for one of these lists to build all your sites from.
Also, sites for others. Ignore the actual pics and colors, picture your own stuff instead.

I'm still pondering my best investment in framework(s) and theme(s).
Sites from #1 & #2 would be most secure, and automatically update themselves frequently.
In terms of most other concerns besides appearance, they are all pretty equivalent.

Exclusive Q&A from the TED stage: Paul Gilding and Peter Diamandis debate

January 15, 2013

Is the Earth maxed out, or should we be optimistic abut being able to solve our future?
At TED2012 last week, Paul Gilding made the case for the former, and Peter Diamandis argued for the latter.

Or else, do as I do, use Ubuntu
AND consider all info you own, online and off, to be public;
AND all your info online is stuff you are promoting and publicizing.

Excellent advice about using two browsers, and not keeping password managers on your machine.
Nothing is perfect, but the two guys interviewed for this are tested by hackers daily.

Abby Martin & Breaking The Set are among the best things on my set.

The Erimtan Angle

Now that Alyona Minkovski has gone over to the dark side, meaning Arianna Huffington (formerly Stassinopoulos) and her YouTube minions, RT’s latest attempt to reach a younger (and more critical) audience is the show Breaking the Set, presented by Abby Martin, and it ‘is a show that cuts through the false Left/Right paradigm and pre-established narrative set in the corporate news and political establishment. Host Abby Martin undermines the mainstream media propaganda while calling out the real players behind the scenes’. And now the election season is finally over, here is Abby Martin explaining that your vote is much more than casting a choice on a ballot. In fact, you can vote in more ways than you know multiple times every day. So make it count (6 November 2012).
